Broly in the Dragonball Z series is the Legendary Super Saiyan which escaped Planet Vegeta after Frieza destroyed it with his father Peragus. Broly was born around the same time Goku was born and they were put into baby pods next to each other. When Broly was born he had the power of 10000 while Goku had the power of only a mere 3. King Vegeta said that Broly was a threat and told his father to kill him. Peragus refused and fled the planet into isolation. However Peragus could not control Broly's power and feared that Broly will kill him one day so he built a mind controly device to help control Broly's power. Many years later Peragus leads Goku and Prince Vegeta into a trap. However his trap became his undoing. Broly remebers Goku's constant crying in the baby pod they were in after they were born. The crying disturbed Broly for the rest of his life. After seeing Goku Broly's anger was able to break through his father's mind control device. Broly then kills his father by crushing his body in a spaceship after his father tried to flee from the planet. Broly then went on a rampage and not even Goku and Vegeta could stop his unbeatable power. However Goku was able to destory the legendary super saiyan. Many years later after Kid Buu is defeated Broly returns for revenge. Howver Goku is not their and only Gohan, Videl, Goten, and Trunks can stop him. After a long battle Gohan, Goten and Goku through the Other World were able to combine a mighty Kamahamaha wave to destroy Broly once and for all.
