Dragonballs

These are the original first Dragonballs seen in the series. They were created by the Earth guaridian Kami. Whoever can gather all 7 of these can summon the dragon Shenron (Shenlong) and be to ask the Dragon for one wish. After these Dragonballs are used they turn to stone for 1 year. After the year is up the Dragonballs return back to the original form. Also after a wish is made the Dragonballs scatter around the planet Earth. If Kami or Piccolo die. The Dragonballs dissapear from the planet Earth but can be brought back if Kami or Piccolo return back to life

Namekian Dragonballs
These are the Dragonballs that appear on the planet Namek. The difference between these and the others is that they are much larger. While a Dragonball on Earth can fit in your hand, a Namekian Dragonball has to be carried with either both hands or have to fit between your arm and waist. And other thing is that these Dragonballs are connected to Guru the father of all Nameks like how the Dragonballs on Earth are connected to Kami and Piccolo. Also when all 7 of these Dragonballs are gathered the dragon has to summoned with a incantation. Also Shenron (Shenlong) doesent appear but the dragon Porunga. Also another thing is that Porunga can grant 3 wishes instead of one.

Black Star Dragonballs

The Black Star Dragonballs are way different from the original and Namekian Dragonballs. The Black Star Dragonballs have the power to destroy the Earth. Once a wish is made on them they dont scatter around the Earth but around the universe and if they are not returned to Earth after one year they planet Earth will be destroyed. Also these Dragonballs summon another Dragon named Black Star Shenron or Dark Shenron. In the entire series only to 2 have made a wish and that is Emperor Pilaf (pictured) and Bebi Vegeta.

Negative Energy Dragonballs

The Negative Energy Dragonballs are Dragonballs that are filled with Negative Energy. Everytime the Dragonballs were used that created a negative energy inside of them. When the Dragonballs finally had no more room in them they cracked and realesed Black Smoke Shenron and the Shadow Dragons. In the series Syn Shenron absorbed the Dragonballs and became Omega Shenron. After Omega was destroyed the Dragonballs returned to normal
